❤️ VOLUNTEERS ARE THE HEART OF HOSPICE ❤️
Volunteers are an integral part of our team. We offer many different ways to serve as a volunteer such as, visiting with patients, providing brief caregiver relief, playing music, writing letters or cards, assisting with light housekeeping, attending community events sponsored by Bridgeway and help with activities in assisted living facilities, nursing homes and Counsel on Aging centers.
The opportunities to provide service as a hospice volunteer are great, and the benefits are even greater. Most volunteers experience a sense of personal reward and growth once they have given their time and compassion to those patients and their families that are facing life-limiting illness.
